The new year brought a remarkable burst of activity changing trade rules. The United States and China agreed on a Phase One agreement and held a signing ceremony in Washington. Meanwhile, the new U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) moved successfully through the U.S. Congress and looks likely to replace NAFTA very soon.

Before Flexport, Dr. Levy spent two decades researching and forming global trade policy. Dr. Levy served as Senior Fellow on the Global Economy at Chicago Council on Global Affairs and Adjunct Professor of Strategy at Northwestern Kellogg.
