Previously, Dr. Levy served twice at the White House on the President's Council of Economic Advisors, most recently as Senior Economist for Trade, and was a member of the Policy Planning Staff for Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. Dr. Levy, who holds a Ph.D in Economics from Stanford University, was also a senior fellow at Chicago Council on Global Affairs and on the faculty of Northwestern Kellogg.

Before joining the Council, Steve was VP for Global Government Relations at Equifax. Previously, as a U.S diplomat, he served in Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Chile, where he was Deputy Chief of Mission and Chargé d’Affaires. Steve was also the State Department’s Director of the Office of International Religious Freedom. He holds degrees from UC Berkeley, Tufts University, and the Reformed Theological Seminary.
Regional Leader, Latin America
Before Flexport, Leonardo was Uber’s first employee in Central and South America, where he launched the company’s regional operations before driving marketing and strategic partnerships. Leonardo, who holds a BA in Latin American Studies from Dartmouth, is of Colombian heritage.
VP, Customs and Trade Advisory
Prior to joining Flexport, he was Sr. Director, Customs and International Trade for Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A. He is a longtime licensed customs broker, a member of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Trade Support Network, and served on the board of the Foreign Trade Association.
